This elegant double layered tear grass necklace is an inspiration from indigenous jewellery that finds mention in British historical records. Seeds of the Coix grass or Audley millet, or more commonly tear grass, are handpicked in a Muthuva village, and handed over to the Malayar macrame artisans for crafting.
